BORROWING
Highland provides first and second mortgages on freehold and stratified properties located in British Columbia only.
Loan amounts range from $25,000 to $500,000 up to 75% loan to value. Weak credit is not an issue as long as explainable and confirmation of ability to debt service can be waived as long as reasonable.

Highland Mortgage Investment Corporation
(Highland) was incorporated on November 4, 2009 under the Business Corporations Act of British Columbia and registered with the BC Financial Services Authority as a mortgage investment corporation. The company is capitalized by the sale of Class B non voting shares to investors for $1.00 per share. No one investor can own more than 25% of any class of shares. Highland is a RRSP and TFSA eligible investment.
Highland is a member of the BC MIC Managers Association.

RANDLE JOHN BARRINGTON-FOOTE
President / Director
Randle was employed with HSBC Bank Canada for 25 years during which his primary focus was personal and commercial lending. He retired from HSBC in November, 2004 and joined the Meridian Group of companies as a sub mortgage broker. In January, 2009, he founded RBF Financial Group Ltd. (“RBF”), a mortgage brokerage company who holds the management contract with the Issuer. Mr. Barrington-Foote is CMA educated and has extensive experience in both personal and commercial mortgage lending, in addition to his banking and mortgage brokerage experience. Mr. Barrington-Foote has served on the Douglas College Foundation Board as well as chaired Children Hospital fund raising committees.
DAVID THOMAS MCKNIGHT

David is a partner at the law firm of Alexander Holburn LLP. His practice is in the area of civil and commercial litigation including banking. From 2012 and 2013, David was recognized by Benchmark Canada as a leading litigator in British Columbia. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the publication, Best lawyers in Canada from 2014 to 2016 for insurance law.
HERB JAMIESON

Herb is currently a Project Manager / Consultant. He worked for Coast Capital Savings from 1991 to 2016, lastly positioned at Coast as Vice President, Branching, Location Strategy and Facilities. Prior to Coast, Herb worked for HSBC for 13 years in a variety of Management positions. The majority of his time in front-line banking was spent in Retail which has enabled Herb to develop a sound base for analysis of many types of credit facilities, including mortgages. Herb has been a long time supporter of the United Way and served on the Board of Directors at Kwantlen Polytechnic University Foundation from 2013 to 2019, including Chair for one of the Foundation’s Committees.
RONALD JOSEPH EVANSKI

Ron was employed by HSBC Bank Canada for 15 years during which he was primarily involved in personal lending. In 2002 he joined the Meridian Group of Companies as VP Operations managing 60 mortgage brokers as well as brokering himself. In 2010 Ron joined BlueShore Financial as Manager of Broker Services; His current title is Director, Broker Services & Business Development. Ron has extensive mortgage brokerage and financing experience.

Chris is the Co-founder and Designated Individual of the Vancouver based mortgage brokerage firm 4Front Mortgages. He has an extensive background in mortgage financing having spent three and a half years with HSBC in a variety of positions and ten years with RBC where he was ranked in the top 1% of all Mortgage Specialists in Canada. As an outdoor enthusiast, he has been a long-time sponsor of 'The Nature Trust of BC’.
